About Marra McDonald Coaching
Marra McDonald
Hi, I’m Marra—founder, mentor, and business strategist based in Delaware.
My path into business didn’t start in business—it started in the classroom.
For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of becoming a teacher. And when I finally stepped into that role, I didn’t just meet the expectations—I exceeded them. I spent 9 years as a high school teacher and 15 years coaching middle and high school basketball, building environments where people could grow, perform, and succeed.
But when I became a mom in 2021, everything shifted.
I quickly realized that the structure and demands of teaching no longer aligned with the life I wanted to build in this season. So, I made a pivot—one that ultimately led me exactly where I was meant to be.
I entered the world of business, starting as a virtual assistant and quickly evolving into running a blogging agency that helped brands generate organic traffic and visibility. But as my business grew, something became very clear:
I wasn’t just building systems and strategies—I was naturally mentoring the business owners behind them.
That’s when everything clicked.
I combined my background in education, leadership, and human development with my business experience—and stepped fully into mentorship for small business owners.
Since then, I’ve supported clients in expanding their businesses sustainably, strengthening their offers, and stepping into higher levels of leadership. My work is rooted in both strategy and people—because true growth requires both.
Today, I have an 85% client renewal rate of 3+ years, which speaks not only to the results my clients achieve, but the environment we create together.
As my clients grew, so did my work.
I expanded into supporting more traditional businesses and teams—helping leaders build strong internal cultures, develop independent and high-performing teams, and elevate their offers and marketing to match their next level.
Because at the end of the day, business growth isn’t just about what you do—it’s about how you lead.
And that’s the work I love most.
Every client I work with is seen, heard, and respected—and challenged to step into the next version of themselves and their business.

My Approach
Most coaching focuses on one piece of the puzzle.
Some focus on strategy.
Some focus on mindset.
Some focus on performance or accountability.
But real, sustainable growth—whether in a business or within a team—requires all of it working together.
That’s where my approach is different.
I don’t believe you need more information.
You need the ability to execute at a high level, lead effectively, and sustain results over time.
So the way I coach is integrated.
We look at your growth through three core lenses:
- Strategy & Direction — Where are you going, and is your current approach actually aligned with that next level?
For business owners, this may look like refining offers, positioning, and growth strategy.
For leaders and teams, it means clarifying priorities, decision-making, and how work is executed at a high level. - Leadership & Capacity — Who do you need to become to operate at that level?
We strengthen how you lead—your standards, communication, decision-making, and ability to create clarity and momentum for others. - Execution & Performance — How do we bring this to life consistently?
This is where most people and teams fall short. We close the gap between vision and execution—so ideas turn into results, and results are sustained.
But what truly sets my work apart is the environment we create.
Because growth doesn’t happen in pressure alone—and it doesn’t happen in comfort either.
My clients step into a space where they are:
-
Challenged to think and operate at a higher level
-
Supported in a way that builds independence—not reliance
-
Held to a standard that matches where they say they want to go
This is why my work translates across both businesses and teams.
Because at the core, the problem is the same:
A gap between where you are… and how you’re operating.
And once that gap is closed—
everything changes.
